well our day was quiet iceman & i left tunks park to perfect but bloody freezing morning .we headed straight out to the heads not haveing ever fished here we where lost anyway we trolled south along the shoreline one thing we where confused with was these 2 rock hoppers we could not work out how in the hell they got there it was cliff face above & water all around & we couldnt see any ropes but looked atop spot as the wind started to pick upwe headed back in for nothin a few small stinky pike & cpl red rock creatures .so we headed up to rose bay to see if any bream where around only to be informed by this guys looking after the mariner that just on dawn there was heeps of big bream along this little beach only for us to find they had left we got small lizard & baby sguire .all in all a great day to be on the water despite the wind it was great to meet a few old raiders & some new ones thx to iceman for the day depsite our poor a temp at fishing

ya nice catch indeed but iam swoffa on this 1 i take my fair share for a feed but i return 80% of fish thses days they r to good to catch once

definalty fishing prolly sturday thinking i might do something different & go for a bass & ep session up the upper reaches of haweksbury or might hit the bay for salmon & tailor for some social practice ken u moving again ?????

well after such a good session on wed aro hit haweksbury agin saturday morning woke up alittle dusty after a typical friday night hopeing the wind would keep away launched at 8am bloody wind was starting allready needless to say it blew all day & got strong so had to fish protected bays went up into pitt water it was wiped out but did manage a nice flonder on a bass minow heeps of bait fish but no kings or salmon anyway wind was way to strong so went up into cowan wasnt much better but fished the banks reguardless no bream few small squire & heeps of choppers destoying my plastics then picked up a ball of bait fish so lowered down a bass minow bang a nice tailor lost a few more but these tailor r big as & fight hard on light gear anyway was getting way to windy so headed back to the ramp oh (fullstop )......... decided to have a flick at a few poles bang iam on good bream this i thought then i saw color wow its an ep my pb i was wrapped sorry about the pics havent worked out self timer yet i was stoked man they fight hard took a cpl pics released for another fisho headed home to some more smoked tailor & few beers even made mrss happy she loves flounders not to bad a day i the end till nexy time ps & yes i failed punctuatuion ep was caught on 2inch water melon hawg rest caught on bassminows punkin seed

bluecod maybe i didnt expain it well it wasnt an electical problem thank god but my crank battery just died for some reason wat i meant was luckly i have an electic motor so i flicked the switch to use that for starting & sounder & pump then all electics worked again i woul he been stuffed if didnt have a second battery & yes guys solo mid week sessions rule pity idont get hem often enough

howdy guys been a while since i posted so thought i better start again .well work was slow today so decided to grab the boat & hit the hawkesbury not expecting to much as there was a srong westerly blowing anywa launched the boat around 1 pm & decided to try to get out of the wind so head into mouth of cowan .somehting has to be said for midweek fishing not a soul arround it was excellent anyway first cast scored a flounder it scoughed my plastic worm all the way in i couldnt beive it the worm was arround 8inches long any way landed & released it then came a few baby squire & the ever persistent choppers shredding my plastics anyway all of a sudden the surface was getting smashed about 500yards ahead of me so quielty snuck up under electirc to score a real decent salmon man do they do some amazing arobatics finally had it near the boat trying to lift it into the net & it tailwalked right in decided to keep 1 for a change i am going to try out some of these fish cake recipes next to come to the boat was a nice tailor into the well that will go down well smoked & eating on friday while drinking beers with the boys :tease:then dropped a cpl more then things went quiet so decided to try flicking for some bream & as usual got a cpl nice lizards ,tomorrow night s dinner been a while since i kept feed so looking forward to it droped another giant lizard just as well anyway makes for a better releas any way then decided i should head for home turned the key bang nothing sounder went off shit i thought iam out here allalone night closeing in & miles from the ramp not feeling very amused i checked a few things then went up front flicked a switch to send power from electic battery bingo all power back looks like the starter battery shit its self unreal thx god for electic motors with out it i would have been stuffed anyway just a thought guys i wonder how people cope if they only got 1 battery ? anyway head back to the ramp arround 5pm was a top little session glad i decided to go iam sure a lot of u love haveing solo outings some of them turn out to be great

ring the fisheris mate & get a knife & cut the abanoned net thats what id do so i take it the net is full of fish? if so are they still alive

mate u picked a bad weekend to fish the hawkesbury the abt bream round is on & there is a shit load of boats fishing it but good luck anyway

yes your all correct i know mid north coast the boys would allready be on the look out every year at this time i see them netting tonnes of mullet of the beaches & its bloody stupid slaughter
