  1. Hey fellas I know it may be a bit of a hike for some of you but Ourimbah creek on the Central coast has started off quite well, I've managed 4+ fish on the past 3 attempts (landbased) usually at least 1 or 2 are 35+cm, can pm locations if you want to launch a kayak or landbased
  2. That's me in a nutshell too mate, gave up the party life for tight lines and open water haha gotta say it does wonders for people with pretty much any mental health issues too...I'm sure you're all aware but there are several petitions and funds being raised about this via change.org
  3. Keep looking Will they sell out fast at this time of year when people start getting excited about pelagics Tight lines!
  4. Hey mate, you're not wrong the water around my local has been pretty much black. The most success I have in these conditions are usually early morning and afternoons on shallow diving cranks in bright reds and greens or a mix of both (stump jumpers being the most effective followed closely by sebile cranks) a lot of hits on the pause in water this dirty. If it was a bit warmer I would say perfect for the surface but still another month or two till it will really fire up. All this rain is looking for a bumper bass season though!
  5. I think it was probably me actually mate (happy to have my comment deleted my facts were wrong and I was too tired to notice!) But i do have to agree with you here. I feel there may be a bit of a stigma associated with c&r fishos on this forum....we mean well believe me, we are just sharing our opinion and happy to hear others. Otherwise whats the point in having a forum it might as well be just photos!
  6. I see you found the ebay 38mm cranks! If you like getting bream on them you should give the bass a go! Bream are a bit more picky with the quality of hardbodies but bass will eat just about anything
  7. Get some ecooda shrimp and you'll find all his mates too I usually get two or three at any given bridge in any given system around this time of year they just love the pylons! Nice e.p though always a pleasant surprise

http://ecopartybox.com.au/latex-balloon-infoI stand corrected, I was talking about latex balloons (manufacturers claim to break down at a similar rate to leaf matter) however this article is basically saying they're no good and will no longer sell them as "biodegradable"....short answer anyone who sells latex balloons but personally will be sticking to floats from now on...might be worth mentioning driftwood isn't a bad float if you tie it off properly, doesn't spook fish and can cast quite well depending on the wood. Good luck mate!

Just throwing it out there, you can buy biodegradable balloons now too which I highly recommend , slightly more expensive but better than giving the birds and whatever else a good feed of rubber
