  1. amazing worm man. I can get worms, but they are usually small and thin.
  2. Yes, i should have been more specific. I was also thinking about a 2-3kg rod and 2500 reel. My sedona is 2500 and pretty happy with it. I dont have a big budget, but rod - $50? and Reel $80 or so? Would be using for small species, combination of lures and bait. mainly land based. wharfs and occasionally rocks.
  3. Hi all, I am planning on purchasing a new rod and reel combo. Can you please provide an suggestions. I am looking for something light Criteria: Suitable for Squid, flathead, whiting, bream something reliable but on the cheaper side. I have a Shimano Sedona which seems to be really good
  4. Hi guys, Ive been successful catching beach worms previously, but find that the worms I am catching are not as fat as what i have seen in bait shops or others catch. i try and go as close to the water as possible thinking that is where they will be bigger. Anyone have any tips for me to find these? Do i need to find a sand back actually in the water to find these?
  5. Thank you. Will I need to cast out further if it's low tide?
  6. Thanks for the advice gents. I was planning on fishing it at first light where there won't really be any swimming. I am am from the hills area. Was just going to use those 2.5 Zman grub I think it's called. Will it matter what size jig head I use?
  7. hi guys, Just wanted your advice. I am new to SP and wanted to know if i would have any chance at catching a Flathead off Balmoral beach. I was planning on walking up and down to cover the beach. Or should i stay on the wharf and wish from there?
