great fish, can you eat them from balmain, i know the luderick are on at dawn fraser at the moment, but you need heaps of burley to bring them on

Good catch Bad luck on the dropped fish,braid and blackfish is not a great idea unless your using a spin reel with a very lose drag setting, float line is the go.

Thanks for that, you are a wealth of knowledge, i won't be venturing onto any rock platforms but i will check out some local creeks, i did see an old bloke the other day with a old sugar sack scouring through one of the local drains, will have to check it out.
