Hey raiders this is my first post, I've been reading the forums for years and thought I better join up and contribute. I went for a solo session on Good Friday and launched at Wally's wharf about 6am. I just put l.e.d. Strip lighting around my boat and it works a treat launching and fishing in the dark. Stopped off at south cronulla to try for some squid on the way out. Landed one in 30mins and it was a decent size so decided to keep it for dinner instead of sending it out live for a king. Started trolling out toward jibbon and hooked two bonnito about 55cms in the space of 20mins. Kept them for bait and a little for Good Friday dinner. I ended up landing 8 in total, 7 on the one halco lure that I purchased the day before(money well spent). I pulled stumps at 10:30am and out cleaning the boat by 11am. Only my second solo session an it was a success except I didn't land any kings. Still yet to hook/find a decent king! Can find plenty of rats and just legals but still searching for a decent king!! Hi all my name is Stuart and I've been reading posts on fish raider for the past 2 years so I thought it would be about time to become a member. I live in the Sutherland shire and I have recently purchased a 460 coast runner in the last 12months. Mainly fish the hacking and outside from cronulla. Don't know the area amazingly but know a few basic spots. Looking forward to posting in the forums and meeting some fellow raiders!! Cheers Stu.
