    Fished today with Broometime at Woolwich as we had got heaps of Luderick before and Col only takes home a couple for him and his mum today we catch and release day . We got 3 good fish as the day was very very hard to get them . So when it came up to windy to fish we went home .39cm./35cm./42cm.

    Jed38 there is still heaps to be had mate it just being there at the right time and having the weed and fishing the right tides also we had only missed once in getting fish .All the fish we have been getting have been good fish and all fat as ever all 35cm to 40cm .A few in the bigger size 43cm / 44cm/ 46 cm . but have been smashed by fish in the 48cm to 50cm that you can not stop .

    Fished today at Woolwich with Col / Bob and myself for Luderick . Day was slow I got one, Col ( Broometime ) got 3 . He also got the biggest . Bob got a bream on blackfish weed . When it became to hot we pulled the plug and the fish went off the bite also so off to home . Broometime two big fish in the photos 38cm and 40 cm . top fish .

    I am with La on that I let all the big ones go after a photo 35cm is a good fish to keep if you want to eat .

    I fish structures and around and under boats looking for the Bream and yes these bream were from awhile back but this summer I will give it ago .

    Have gone from getting Luderick to my number one fishing fish the Bream and lure fishing . Soft plastics and hard bodies and the number one lure the blade.

    Manly Dam is not a bad place to fish it has Bass/ Redfin/ Yellowbelly/ and Carp to be had there. Fished there many years ago and got me biggest Bass to date. Only problem is the Carp.I fished there with lures and found it to be very successful. Spinerbaits for the Bass and worms for the Redfin. Corn for the Carp . Only problem is people feeding the ducks. So it is better to fish right up the back of the dam to get away from the crowds.

    Hi mate there are some fine Luderick from there . Greenweed or Green Gabbage is the way to go to get them . You will find the weed in drains in the place if you look hard enough . Green Weed Flys can work if no weed to be found. Wish you luck with your adventure .

    I have only got a Blackfish with a yellow head and black body and that was at Woolwich .

    I was reading they can get to 60 cm . But 56 cm is the Australian Record .

    Just found two Blackfish on this page never seen before hope you like them as I did .
