  1. That's not a lizard-it's an ironing board .....or maybe it's just a faceless dwarf holding it Seriously though, I saw that pick on Scotty Lyon's link....and a few other crocs taken that day. Awesome sight
  2. Ah Ben, Like me you didn't let the weather stand between you and sesh on the water. Great report and pics and a handy find with the SX48 . I braved the rocks for a few pigs but it took me until the footy started to finally warm up. We will have to catch up soon on the yaks! Cheers, Rob
  3. Great post guys, The term 'Winter flathead' is getting me excited as I don't usually target them until after September. I'm out there next week now! I wonder if that southerly brought on the change of bite?? Cheers and keep the Saturday arvo reports coming!
  4. Great post Ceph and well done on the lizards, the trev and the cold crowny. I usually target lizards with livies from my kayak but after reading lots of posts here methinks more plastic flicking is in order for me. Are you using larger plastics for them and is that why your $$$$$ rod & reel follow them in? Cheers, Rob
  5. Hey Ben, Looks like a great session there. I would like to join you one day for a midweek yak session on the Luds...they seem to be in good numbers this year. Rob
  6. I joined this forum months ago, enjoying the great reads and have finally been able to post something after some technical difficulties. Had a great arvo down at Cronulla last week with my father-in-law after deciding on a day off. I looked on the surf cams site before we went and it was a whopping 1ft south swell so expections of white water weren't that high. Arrived an hour or so before high tide and berleyed with bread and prawn heads....30 minutes later it was non stop piglet action until high tide. We were fishing with 6kg line and a few larger models bricked us but we kept 10 fish from 32-40cm including a tarwhine and bream from inside the swimming baths!
