Thanks savit. My budget, in between $300-$400,includes reel, rod & lining. I am actually trying for salmon, heading towards stanwell park beach & coalcliff beach in 3 days time, if weather permits. Will go with pillies and will try with lures as well as I ll hve mates with me. Truely apreciate any suggestions from you all .

Hello there, Need your help with reels as I dont have that much of a knowledge or experience on this. I am struggling in choosing my reel, SHIMANO socorro SW 6000 or Penn Spinfisher 6500 (fits in budget), which i intend to use for salt water fishing in about coalcliff, stanwell park beach chasing salmon and will be using braid lining OR any other reels that I should go for! Hello beautiful people, I am new to the forum and trying to get started with salt water fishing; NEED HELP with fishing stuffs. What salt water reels, braids, rods do I need? I intend to catch smaller to bigger fish with the same gears. If possibly anyone can put some light on this in a bit details with what brand shall i go with as well; so far I have choosen shimano socorro sw 6000 or penn spinfisher V 6500, please suggest. Hello there, I havent done that much fishing, only in neighbourhiod and need some help with it. I am planning to go to coalcliff under the seacliff bridge, on the rocks for fishing, crowded, but can catch very good size fish. Wondering if anyone could possibly tell me the route to go from the main rd towards seacliff bridge to the famous coalcliff fishing spot. So far i know, there are no direct access there with car, need to park the car somewhere and walk. thats all i know. pls help. Lastly, about the gears. I am planning to buy shimano socorro 5000 reels, confused on rods and line, which rods shall i go with and shall i go with braids or mono or flouro. I gave a thought on Penn spinfisher..but read a review on it, so decided not to ::( If anyone can put some light on it. pls!
