  1. Hey zoran i got a new one prop yesterday and it looks a lot bigger than the original that’s why i was asking about wear on alloys it doesn’t really matter because the one supplied doesn’t fit onto the shaft properly ie about 10mm play between prop and washer /locknut so will have to return it . I willsend old one so they what size i need but with all the postage i should have just got an original just something for others to think about

  2. The hull is i think from 1987 one motor I bought new in 2004 the other a 2002 vintage that i paid $900 for about 8 years ago boat originally cost me $5000 off a mate it only has a top speed of around 25 knots but its only calm water i do that so i cant see the point on expensive props but i see from your name your a hoon😊

  3. So as i posted a few daye ago i had to replace a damaged prop, new one arrived and while its the same diameter it is larger than the old ones my question is would an alloy prop erode much after 20 years i do use the boat regularly but don’t know how many hours also being a twin setup will it affect performance much i dont want to do something that means i cant return new one if its not suitable or do i need to replace both props cheers

  4. Hi all so i hit a submerged branch yesterday and bent the prop i have a spare one but the bush is damaged does anyone know how to remove the bush its on a tohatsu mc40

  5. 5am on the water parsley bay brooklyn  headed to pittwater thinking catch a few squid and some  flatties for dinner. water was dirty so probably  why no squid  for me I've beendoing  well on them lately  but not today ok wife wants flathead  as I've struggled  lately and ended  up buying  some a few weeks ago. Drifting pittwater  caught  a 85cm old girl very wide across  the head solid fish well I let her go and caught  nothing  but stingrays  and shovel nose sharks after that. .pittwater  has them in plagues lately it's all I'm  catching  .back to ramp and the clowns are there with ski boats jetskis  and all there crap ,dancing on the pontoon even 1 goose has a chair on the ramp to sit and watch as they unload all there stuff on the bloody  ramp

  6. It's part of the package with these guys  not cheap  but I can see why. I don't know how they get around  the license  thing but it is well run and obviously  legal and good fun

  7. Yeah we all complain about them but I always  wanted  to try one. My daughters got me a ride out of Brooklyn for my birthday last October and have finally  got round  to doing it  today.the company  that run it is great very focused  on safety  as you don't need  a license  to do it.good fun but I wouldn't  be in a rush to buy one that said I wouldn't  go sailing either if you want to try it out a great way to do so

  8. A warning  is a good reminder  I suppose but I've  never been asked about the water.i always have water onboard and use frozen juice bottles of water instead of buying  ice in the esky glad the boys had a fun day

  9. Yeah I hear so much  crap about  towing loads pay loads and then they add every accessory known to drive around  Sydney.the old Ute had a bull bar and did save damage when a semi backed into me at port botany but I only used 4wd for maybe 5 hrs in 14 yrs .I got 4wd again because  dealer told me wait for 2wd could be a lot longer as there not as popular. I wanted white as it's a work car but that was a longer wait so got there first delivery which wad grey I'm glad I did looks nice

  10. Don't know what I done there but anyway 10 yrs warranty  but only If serviced  with Mitsubishi  any repairs I will do myself or local mechanic. The old triton  was the most reliable  car I've had but getting  too many km.s and a change in working  made sense to upgrade.also a tax thing
