I've got a 2500 TD Black, 2500 Vanford, 2500 Nasci & a 3000 Freams & a 4000 Miravel. Based on what I've used above I'd be leaning towards the 2550 TD Black for your use.

Managed to dunk my little Freams in the saltwater on the weekend for all of about 3 seconds.... Is it worth sending into Daiwa for a service (it is a MagSealed version). Or being a $150 reel is it better to see how it goes after washing in fresh, drying it out and re-greasing and lubing the parts I can get to?? Unsure what they generally charge for a reel sevice.
