Hey guys, first of all just wanted to say thanks for all the great content from a longtime lurker, first time poster. There’s boatloads of knowledge on her and it’s been great to sponge as much as I can to aid my fishing adventures - much appreciated!
As the title suggests, I’m heading up to Toukley Sunday-Tuesday with the tinny. We’re staying more or less next to the Toukley bridge. Been doing a little bit of reading and trying to decide whether we drop in at Tuggerah Lake or Lake Macquarie. Goal would be to get a feed of flatty - I’ll be on the lures and the Mrs and my Granddad will be on the bait. From what I can see there are fish around in both bodies of water, but with minimal local knowledge I was just wondering if anyone could recommend one over the other? Not after anybody’s secret spots but maybe a bit of a brief report of conditions of late and what is around this time of year would be fantastic! Looks like a little bit of rain around but would still like to get at least a half day in and see if we can bag a feed for the family.
Thanks in advance legends!
