I have eaten oysters like that up in broome, Pacific oysters. I could not keep them down. Tastless crap . Nothing like our sydney rock oyster, But as normal , Weve killed them off Maybe the pacifics cook up ok

Depends on the weather mate, If there are a million boats on the water, Any of those two will do as long as you can get your boat in the water. If it is an average day(weather) or fishermans weather, The one on the north faces EAST. The one on the south faces NORTH. The south ramp is best for S,S/E,S/W afternoon wind retrieves. The north is good for westerlys???. If ya got a little tinny, Either one , A high sided sea boat, You need to think about the afternoon winds. Hope that helps.

BUTTER!!! Let me explane. My biggest enemy of fishing is the So. If I want to go fishing on a Saturday, This is what I do. Friday arvo I head on down to woolworths and pick up girl food (Salad) and a bottle of LO. Then I pick up the kids from kindy and feed them and have them Bathed and dressed in jammies before she gets home. when she gets home I actually pretened to listen to her and if I feel that my eyes are starting to glaze over listening to her yap on, I quikly look away and either quikly play with the kids or fetch her another bubley . I prepare her a rabbit food dinner and serve it to here after Ive put the kids down. Some more "Listening" for some hours untill she crashes to bed. Then I follow in and pretend to listen some more, Hell Ill even make love if I have too . Then , In the still of the nite, I whisper "Darling Ive hitched the boat" 9 times out of 10 she rolls over and says "Have Fun". After that, Any bait is a good bait Mick

In that case Ill just buy a VHF and use it as 99% of others do , And that is emergency only/Listen sometimes. My 27 meg is 5 years old now and needs an upgrade for saftey sake. Dan Im not putting shit on the current plastic BR, Its ok. But the replaced Thunnus was better, And MY advice was to try and find one still on the shelf, Thats not bad advice and I do take offence(but Ill forget about it tommorro) at your insinuation. Ive had dozens of plasic reels over the last 30 years, Some were ok, But there are none that id rave on about. The pros use them because there a reasonable reel for there clients to use and abuse and they are cheap. You cannot tell me that plastic gear is better than metal. Its not so much "lost fish" that is plastics problem, Its , Over time in the sun and with short use, Bad drag, Rough gears, Into the garbage bin. Now I ask you, Why is the bottom line Shimano made of plastic and the top of the line made of metal? Mick

What did you get Red, A thunnus or the new BR plastic? Sorry Ive ad a few Cant understand Why John Dumphy droped the thunnus, Its got the same drag as the Spyros (good) And that real is marketed as a heavy duty sea real. Ill never buy the latest Shimano BR Ive never had a 'Good" plastic thredline in any form Mick Just my personal experiance. Some plastic stuff does suit some and I understand that.

Im looking for a two piece threadlin rod that will cast med to heavy lures at BIG fish in the tropics. This rod(Godzilla) fits the bill for all purpose intended. Whose got one and what do they think? Are there any reports of vices that I should be wary of. At $299 There pricey but feel superb when you load one up. Thanks Mick
