Hi guys, just wondering when the run is on for hairtail at the entrance of hawksburry and Pittwater.
as I recall I think it was February, not sure. If anyone knows when pm me will keep the secret.

Fished the Pittwater on Monday kings are pretty much everywhere but all rats, hard to get cube pillies down to reach the flatties, first time kings being a pest but I guess fun on light gear. Ended up with only 5 flatties. Try Pittwater really active at the moment.

Tried twice last week for nothing....

They were coming out none stop around 2 to 3 weeks ago but really quiet now, went there Saturday night out of like 15 boats I see like 2 boats catching one eat

Muddie was trying to steal the bait from the hook and got himself tangled

Went down to narrabeen lagoon last week, was raining hard but decided to have a quick session.
Came up with this guy, never seen a muddie this big in narrabeen before. Yum yum

Hi guys I'm here in Gladstone in qld, does any know some good gps spots around here
i have a small tinnie with 40hp
was thinking of going out many 10km out heard there are some nice wrecks around but don't know any gps spots
all I caught so far muddie and more muddie

Sounds like your sinking your bait that's why your getting whiting bream and jackets.
try to have the bait mid way where the yakkas and tailors hang around

Go to Waratah bay at night heaps of yakkas everywhere, they normallly active at night.
Last night caught 4 hairtails but they came late around 1am came in thick right on the surface. There were 2 other boats going for hairtails as well with glow sticks. Few stonker breams around as well

How big were the hairtail? I found that towards the end of the season they were smaller in size

Well done, sounds like a dream session.
A session where you will never forget in your life. Will be talking about it forever, a session you have no time to eat drink breath at all and your legs are shaking non stop from excitement and every few sec you know you'll get an action.

I’ve been going nearly everyday for the past month stayed out till 4:00am and found a pattern when they usually bite, 5:15pm to 7pm
11:00pm to 1am
3:30am to 4:00am
other times better to chase bream and the odd Jew,
big jews start to bite from 11pm and onwards
good luck hope this info helps
