  1. No worries Geoff I will certainly keep your address and give you a call. Will probably move the boat up there sometime in march!! Thanks for the reply. Maurice
  2. Hi Fellow Raiders I would like to go out on Friday. It seems as if the sea will drop. Would anyone like to go out on my 31 feet Noosa Cat? Share fuel the only expense. The boat is moored at Cabarita. That is Concord Sydney. Maurice
  3. Hello fello Raiders I am moving to Newcastle in a few weeks and will be moving my boat up as well. It is a 31 ft Noosa Cat and a great platform for fishing. I am looking for a regular crew to assist on fishing days. Contribution to fuel is the only cost. If you are nterested please let me know. I will probably moor the boat in Newcastle Harbour somewhere. Thanks Winnings
  4. Thanks to Roscoe and several marlin trips including one memorable stripy at 110kg I decided to make my new purchase, (boat number 14) a 31ft Noosa Cat. Figured that I wouldn't mind getting out there this summer and try for some game fish. Several boats ago I did give it a crack out of a Bertrum 26' but unfortunately the boat was right but the guy driving it wasn't. When you are out on Broadbill the cruise is so good that the deckie does all the work. Now that means that I mostly slept between turns in the chair and didn't learn much. So now I am seeking an expert marlin, tuna, etc etc experienced game fisherman to show me the ropes. Boat and fuel provided or alternatively I can get a few ohter novices to assist in othe rpayment methods. So if you are an expert in game fishing please let me know as I really do want to maximise the use of this boat. Happy fishing!! Winnings

  14. Hi Geoff Thanks for the reply. Actually I am just sitting here with someone that knows you. His name is Paint Stripper AKA John? We met out on a charter boat fishing trip on Tuesday. We caught a couple of big Spaniards one of which was over 35 lbs. John will put a photo up as I did not get one. But boy it was very tasty indeed. Merry Christmas and thank you for the tips on Cronulla!! Cheers Maurice Winnings 1
  15. Thanks Mr Magoo for the advice which I will certainly heed. I ended up getting the GPS marks as they tell me that there is a much greater variation in temperature out there so we shall see. Thank you for making the effort to answer my request.
