    Johno we got the fish in 60 fathoms,water temp was 21.8,this was on the 14th but,things seem to of slowed down since then,was no where near as much bait out there last weekend

    G'day fellow raiders Just thought id share a video off a stripe around 70kg we got just before chrissy, we picked it up just past the shelf after consulting with sea surface we arived at our coordinates and found sauries busting up everwhere and about 15 minutes later hooked up, after a 20 minute fight we only just got the tag in before the hooks pulled and for once we got decent video footage, aswell as the fish puting on a nice show for us.

    Have a look at the Quintrex Offshore's and ocean sport's you can pick up a mid 2000's model in the 30k 35k range,i sold my 01 6.1m offshore with all the bells and wistles 12 months ago for 31k, there a top boat! and have heaps of room.

    we headed out sat'd and hooked one east of browns at 230pm and spent 4.5hrs on it and it still tore the gaff out off its head and went for one final run(time for a new gaff) it went 70kg acording to the measurments(club waiting for new gantry).

    look up www.phuketdeepseafishing.com there the only reel game charters there and try to get on reel hooker with john,if not the others are great too,ive been out a few times and caught wahoo,tuna gts and sails all day and if you have the money hire the boat out by yourself (AUWESOME)you get all the fish to yourself...
