  1. hi i have a lowrance elite 5 fish finder and would like to run a hds 5 along side it as thy both are 83/200 khz will they interfere with each other .thanks pappy

  7. hi i have a eagle fish elite 640c sounder and the problem that i am having is that i will turn it self off then back on in the blink of a eye then you have to put all your setting back in .i have checked all wiring and volts and battery is good .i have read that they have a over volt protection if so what volts would it be.thanks pappy1

    hi i have a 60 yammy 4 stroke the hand book say it has a operating rpm of 5000 to 6000 and max rpm of 5500 to 6000 .what is the meaning of the to .the motor rev out to 5600 rpm.thanks pappy

  11. hi all just a thing to remember with the inflatable pfd is thy will need to be serviced as per manufacturer instructions if this is not done you can get a fine .i manly fish inland and estuary waters so i will be getting a good pfd 2 my kids all wear pfd 1 .pappy
  12. hi fished windamere with the young bloke today for 14 yellowbelly the best 62 cm 4.7 kg .water up to 20.0 deg taken on g vibs & jackalls .cheers pappy
  13. hi yes they can be a bit sluggish in the cold water but as it warm up they go a bit harder .i don't cook them i release all the native i catch .cheers

  15. goran is right in saying that they are not much in the eating department at that size .i release all the natives that i catch .carlo27 windamere is in the central west between lithgow and mudgee.

  17. water temp was 15 to 16 and a bit dirty should be firing next month when water gets up around 20deg .
  18. hi all fished windamere on the weekend and got on to same nices yellowbelly .the dam has gone from 18% to 26% and the fish are feeding on the new ground the best i got was 4 kg .cheers

  23. thanks for the reply .yes hoggey i did troll big stumpjumper and 140 j d lures but i think on the day the cod & yellas where up in the top layer where the redfin were .fished the dam today for to yellas and three redfin the big cod do bit in the colder months but you have to put in some long hour.will be fishing windermere in to week i will let you no how i go .cheer pappy
  24. got the cod trolling a tn 70 around the schools of redfin
  25. fished burrendong dam last weekend with my son blake we got a 7 kg cod & 3 kg yella they were both taken on tn 70es in bluegill color and both released also got 12 redfin on the same lures .heading back out this weekend and hope for more of the same .pappy
