We are having a discussion over in the Polyboatowners forum regarding the new NSW rules regarding anchor lights. The new rules stipulate that the anchor light must be 1m above the height of your nav lights. What a right pain. Who wants a 1m pole (in my case) at the rear of the boat interfering with the access for doing stuff. I'll have to put a new removable one on now to "fix" the problem. Also, in some areas, the thought police are insisting that it be installed and are testing them even during daylight fishing hours. How ridiculous.

Unbelievable! You'd think though for a ship that size you'd use a nuclear power source. Or are these limited to military vessels only??

I agree. Huett's upgraded my E-Tec from a 40HP to a 60HP just before Chrissy. Did a great job. Craig showed me how to connect to a laptop and see what your motor has been doing. Pretty hi-tech stuff. I'm in the 'Gong so its a fair haul up but I don't care. I'll drive the drive because the service was fantastic. Keep up the good work!! Chris

Yes you can. I paid mine at Maritime the other day and asked the question. It's even written on the back of the rego. As long as there are no changes to be made (ie new motor etc), no probs.
