  1. Yes I found the problem today .i pulled the twin battery on and off switch out to have a look and the accessories wire was loose at the connection. Titan him up and all good now.

My rods go in the sides of the boat and run down past the battery switch on one side and thinking the rod tips are getting caught on the wire sometimes making it become loose.

Thanks again for your advise guys

  4. Thanks for all the comments guys.i found out today Darren just lives around the corner I built his house 10 years ago in Penrith still has the big smile on his face from the big Jew last week.

Darren's been trying for over 2 years for a big Jew caught lots in the 60 - 80cm range all in the Hawksbury.

Fish of this size I think you have to do your time and I think Darren had done his.

This fish was caught anchored up near flint steal caught on a live yackker on 50lb braid 80lb fc leader single hook

On the tide change in the middle of the day and another fish of 10kg was caught not far from them at the same time. The right place at the right time I say plus he catch,s all his Jews on yackkers.

Nothing better than going fishing with your son tight lines sticky beaame8e8yr.jpgk

  6. First time there couldn't of mist it boats everywhere.what a top day to be on the water.sweep city one after another good fight on bream gear for my boys every now and then u get past them and they would catch trevallies good size fish no sinkers just floaters down the burly trail anchored up with two big baits fresh squid for kingfish .lost 3 big fish on the rocks each time cut me off.full drag couldn't stop them .was fighting one for 15min and I could feel it rubbing on the rocks for the last 5min 40lb braid .

Next time maybe .the boys couldn't even hold the rods with heavy drag like that I was struggling myself .good day out boys got there first trevallies and Iam still waiting for my first keeper kingfish.epu2u3ab.jpg

  7. Late report fished Saturday went to a spot we fished the week before we're we left them biting and put back a dozen good fatties.we arrived and there was two trawlers in our spot working in 50m not good.fished for three hrs not a thing nothing.called it a day on the way back in found some birds working got a few salmon on lures boys were happy with that and let them go.

You think your doing the right thing letting these fish go as we all do , just keeping enough for a feed and the next day or week the trawlers come in and take the lot.uzudygu8.jpg
