Hey mate good work on the fish. You do know the fish on the top in the pic is a watsons leaping bonito right? How did it taste? Any diff to normal bonito?

Shame about the fish mate. Jewfish feed anytime of day, as do most fish although they are more active during certain types of the day. I find Jewfish are more likely to be caught on the fast moving tide periods, such as withing the couple hours either side of high or low tide. I hope this helps in going back to catch the ones that got away
