Hi Guys Our fishfinder died, so I was wondering if you have any good recomendation for a good fishfinder around $300 or less. We had a humminbird piranahmax 210 previosuly and he was shwoing in Metric. It seems the newer ones are all imperial. what to look for in a fish finder and which one in the price range?? Any advice would welcomed.

That sounds like great fun and a fair haul. Just out of interest do most people eat fish this far up the Georges? No toxin concerns?

Would these plate boats need more HP to push them? hence more fuel cost than press alluminium boats? Anyone got one of these boats?

Awsome..that looks like Darwin wharf is it? . I see many people fish there but don't catch anything, However 70 metres up in the restaurant area, there are fish everywhere on the surface.

Hi guys. New to the fish finder arena. Does anyone know what those numbers above the fish mean on the sounder? Are they the size of the fish in cms? inches? ??? Thanks in advance.

Wow..thats an amazing story , brings back memories of Jaws the movie..more detailed account than that of the media. You and the other boat should be please with yourself to help out the yakkas. Good on you and I heard one guy dicthed his anchor to rescue them.

Congrats on the legal King. I caught a king too and the feeling is great but mine was not legal and back in it went. Mind telling if you use a sinker and let your bait hit the bottom? or fish abit off from the bottom?

Ahh thanks for that Jigholio. Another question, can king fish be hooked fishing from that semi circle bath? and that wharf near the hmas peguin, is that publically accessible?

is there a island in Balmoral? I can only see a cicular bath/wharf and a little rocky point to the left. Where exactly is Yakka central relative to the bath? Thanks for the advice.

What time of day was the Bonito's biting? I was at Kiama on the weekend and only saw 2 or 3 bonitos taken on lures. Didn't touch my pillies.
