Hi Raiders,
Went out yesterday on a charter with with a group of mates.
We left Tonkin Wharf at around 5:30am and reached the reefs off the National Park by about 7am. Started off by catching slimey mackeral, they were everywhere. Everyone was double or triple hooking up instantly using squid and Pillies as bait. After a while we moved off to a different spot and the deckhands cut the mackeral into strip so we could use them as bait. There next few hours was not stop action and caught a mixed bag of fishing including:
- Snapper
- Rubber Lip Morowong
- Sweep
- Pinkies
- Slimey Mackeral
- Snapper
- Seargant Bakers
- Trevally
- Ling Fish
- Pike
- Perch
In the end, we caught well over 100 fish.
Cheers.
