  8. Hi there first time writer long time reader! went out again todat after 17 good flatties off cronulla yesterday quite lucky in the end after loosing about 5 kg of lead due to those bloody jackets out there, all the way from marley back to vodoo!! today though as soon as we went out, one sinker lost we headed back in fortunatly they were not at the beach and we managed another 5, after finding heaps of slimies out there we headed back inside and got into the bream in the upper hacking. the only downer to the day was when leaving the ramp and seeing a few guys keeping well under size bream the upside when we were leavig one of them put a hook right through there finger!! thats carma if i had ver seen it.
  9. funny you say that, catching a rat on a nipper. we were in the bay last weekend and after getting squid and yakas and trying several spots which have had previous success we were going over to towra for flatties and thought we would give the drums a go no luck on the live bait but when we threw a old prawn on a sp jig caught 2 lost 2 all on 6lb light gear(top fun) then one on a a gulp flick bait. as well as a few keeper bream trevally and a good flatty wasnt a bad way to finish a pritty poor morning.
