  2. Anyone wanna share were it is have only been in the harbour a few times and have no idea where you talking about
  3. Well they will argue (as they did with me) that it needs to be carried at all times. You may not plan to be out at night but what happens if something goes worng when you are heading for home and you are stuck out in the drak ????? This is what they told me 3 weeks in the bay Anyway i carry mine all the time now and it is 1mtr above the Nav lights as fitted my the manufacturer
  4. Give Windang a try now they have opened the mouth of the river up. One of the boys on here said it is fishing ok.
  5. All good didnt cost me a cent. My N51 (or E51 can't rememer) does most of the crap the i phone does it is half the size and a 1/4 the weight. I must admit i have never enjoyed sitting in the doctor surgery as much since i have had the iphone snooker and solitaire are awesome Chick will love the phone(and Johnno ) i can't get it off my misses she is always playing games on it
  6. I have been using an iphone for 2 weeks now and after all the fun of having a new phone and playing with the different options i will be going back to my N51. It is great for emails, games but it is pain to use as a day to day phone.
  7. I have plenty more if you want to see them
  8. I was lucky enough today to be invited on a flight from my work to the harbour and upto the northern beaches. A great 45 minute run and what a sensational morning it was to do it. I thought i would post up some pics hope someone enjoys looking at them

Ah the old poo fish because app that is what they taste like
  10. Anthony Consider this I thought i had a drama with my boat as it was doing the same thing. Everytime i i pulled my boat off the ramp is pissed out water. My mate said that is not normal dude you have a hole or a crack somewhere(my boat was 2 months old) SO anyway i stressed and stressed i called the guy that services my boat he said try this. When you wash the boat at home tip it up as much as you can to get the water out and i bet next time you pull the boat out of the water you have bugger all come out of your boat. I tried this and have a guess what bugger all come out. He said the water coming out on the ramp is from when you wash it and you store it away unless the boat is tipped up a fair amount can stay in there even if you drive around the block after you wash it with the plugs out. remember on the ramp it is usually at an angle so it will empty out what won't normally come out if you know what i mean. Every time i was my boat i now put a couple of bricks under the jockey wheel in wind it all the way up water comes out for atleast 20 seconds sometimes more depends how much i used washing it(this is after i have driven around the bloock a couple of time with the plugs out Hope this is the problem in your case cheers Hoges
  11. Ahh BUGGER Why couldn't it have been the weekend before or the weekend after have a big weekend on at work that weekend SPEWING Hope everyone has a great safe day on the bay
  12. Had a flick a weeks or so ago at night with a glow fish. Didn't have any luck but neither did the guys using bate. Will try again next time when i go out
  13. Thanks mate I aint no pro actually i am very new to fishing but as i said they are places i have had some luck. Pitty more people don't share some of there fishing spots
  14. Try down around como bridge i like to drift either side over the sand for flatties(well i never do any good but others have) You can also try a drift down in front of Lugarno have caught my PB flatty there. If you go a bit further west of Lugarno the channel runs very close to the rocks have done ok there for Bream. In the middle of that bay drift over the sand for flatty, whiting and Bream. This is a great spot to get out of the wind as well I have tried and tried lately with no luck Have fun hope you get something P.S i have attached a map of some areas that have been ok for me(in the warmer months). The areas in green are where i drift the red are areas that have been good for bream.

  21. Hi mate and welcome how far will you travel i often fish Botany Bay at night as my mates are not that keen on fishing and they sook about the cold so i end up going by myself most of the time. I have a 5.2m runabout which i am slowly getting sorted for fishing so i will pm ya if you are keen to drive down to the bay
  22. NAROOMA is the place you are looking for. It is a 4 to 5 hour drive from Sydney you have Wagonga inlet(Narooma),Tuross(Tuross Lake), Dalmeny(Dalmeny lake), South Narooma(Corunna lake), Batemans bay(clyde River), merimbula, bermigui all within and hour or so of Narooma and all are sensational fishing and most have boat hire. There are plenty of different options on the Narroma site for all kinds of fishing anfd accomodation but i wouldn't say the deep water access is safe. narooma has one of if not the worst bars in NSW at times. there are however 6 or so options in Narooma for deep sea charters and you could take the misses over to montague island she will love it check out www.narooma.com.au
