  1. I have a second hand Shimano Baitrunner 4500 reel in excellent condition. I am looking to swap it for a Shimano Baitrunner 3500 in similar condition. Please PM if you can help.

  2. Howdy all

Just wondering if the humble Leather Jacket is on the chew during night time around the wharfs or are they mainly a day time feeder. Never see a pic of a Jacket in the dark hours.

Nothin better than sittin on a wharf around 10.30pm middle of winter freezin my *#!+ off.

Any particular land based spot in Sydney seem to be better for Jackets than the rest.

  3. Thanks for the report mate. I am on hol's at the moment and only said to my :wife: I might put in an after dark session next week. Will make the extra effort and get some live Nippers down Maianbar on the day.

I have had no luck on the Bream this year so this may be the turning point. Thanks for the heads up.

    Looking forward to the pic's

  5. Hi Raiders

Can anyone confirm if the boat ramp at Drummoyne is still open. I haven't been down there for many many years. You used to turn left off Lyon's road and it was down the end near the old bridge.

    Thanks in advance

  6. We arrived at Oatley boat ramp at 5.30am this morning and I said to my boy's I'll launch and pick you two up on the eastern side of the jetty. While launching Daniel my eldest come running over and said there was a sunken car next to the jetty. I thought he was mad. Those of you who dont know Oatley, the ramp is on the western side of the jetty this car was on the eastern side right out where you pull up at the jetty it was weird. It was like they just drove up to the jetty and sunk. It was only 12 inches below surface. How they got it there I dont know. It must be 20mtrs out and there is no real access on that side of the area to dump in that particular spot.

If my boy had not seen the bloody thing I may have damaged my prop or something else. Notified waterway's and they were there with police when we got back. Thankfully no-one was in the car.

  7. Well done mate. I was out as well and your right the Bay was flat as a tac. I could not raise a Flatty. My plan was to head down off Cronulla for Flatties but my brother in law called late last night and said he was crook :1badmood:

I launched at Oatley and when I returned a couple of fella's were cleaning a lizard

at around 90-95cm :1yikes: massive. A very quite day for me today but enjoyed being out there.

  8. Hi all

Going for a Flatty bash Sunday morning and I'm taking my 2 little mates with me. I am thinking of hitting the Cronulla Flathead grounds re: Fishfinder co-ordinates but wondering if anyone has a favourite Flatty patch they want to share thats a bit closer to Botany heads.

    Await your reply :1prop:

Well done mate. Maybe next spring we can have a Fishraider Snapper fest down south at the Hump.
