G'day peter, Awesome Catch, I haven't caught a tailor from he beach yet. was at Wamberal beach this morning's high tide for some salmon but just a few bites no fish! Wud have luved to be at avoca besides u guys for my first tailor of the beach!! Well done! Cheers, Saad.

G'day Raiders, Posting after a long time, have been catching fish but was too lazy to post. But last night was special as its my first jewfish from the beach. Went there with couple of mates, weather was crap so we went out just for fun with mullet strips and pillies basically looking for salmon and odd tailor. The tide was verrrry low and incoming started at 6pm so we had to cast really far, no bites for the first hour of tide in then as we were about to call quits , Bang my rod was bending like half moon, quickly went on to it and the way fish was behaving it was certain that its a good fish not a sting ray or PJ. The waves were quite big so it helped to bring out the fish and as soon as I saw silverish colored fish I knew its something special!!! It weighed 5.8kg!!! Cheers, SAAD.

G'day Guys, went yesterday to my fav. spot at terrigal to catch my ever reliable buddy Mr Salmon, was so sure to catch some as the tide and everything was perfect but not even a single bite The beach is full of weeds and every cast landed 10kgs of weed, so i did community work yesterday removing all that weed from the beach Just wondering if any of u raiders can tell me of a good spot for catching squid around Brisbane waters! Thanks very much ray, i really do appreciate it. Abt the egar mate i use a 5ft rod with small spinning reel with 10lb braid. Have got small lures like scorpion and lively lures and good range of soft plastics, so wat next mate!!!! Eager to hear from ya Cheers, Saad

Hi Guys, Went yesrterday for 2hrs session at north entrance. Caught all these within the space of 30mins at dusk after that not even a single bite! All in all a god little session!! Cheers, Saad.

Mates, was fishin with pillies and prawns, Caught 2 salmon abt 3kg, & 1 PJ. But got the big one on prawn and it never for a sec even gave me a chance to reel in. was fishing near terrigal beach! Cheers, Saad.

Hi Guys, Just reporting a good 2hrs session of beach fishing on my way back from work! Lost a big one which never stopped and just kept running away with the line Water is still abit murky after all the rains but the fish are bak for sure!
