Sorry, been off fishing, I think I got it from a junk shop, usually comes with a boat key, sometimes. It is about 2 metres long, haven't fallen overboard yet but the wife keeps hoping.

I had a set of self draining bungs, the ones with the long rubber tongues, I found that they leaked when you were drifting for a while, great if you are constantly on the move only.

I have a retractable cord clipped onto belt when fishing alone outside. Very cheap.

Good on her.

I noticed a Bailing Bucket at BWS, probably holds about a litre and has whistle, torch, hand strap etc, is this kosher and replaces the Bailing Bucket regs?

I have tried 2 different sharpeners bur have always found the stone best.

Mate, I had a problem with my set up with a FG boat, I spent a good time over winter under the trailer with a jack adjusting the rollers and guides. When trying to retrieve the boat sometimes it would tend to go askew on the trailer, this was depending on the wind and the tide, I pulled all the rollers pins out and regreased and adjusted the centre and side rollers. The easy guide skids were adjusted so the boat would not scrape on the rollers brackets but would still have movement, this will depend on the shape of the hull, you have to adjust them so as they still have movement but still protect the hull from the roller bracket. I spent at least 2 days to adjust the setup as I did not have access to the river, it takes time.

Take photo's of offending cars and send with message, or, download app, Snap Send Solve, it sends pictures direct to the council that is responsible for the area you are in automatically.

Replaced the Al prop on my 50HP Tohatsu with a SS from Solas, best $500 I spent, better speed and better fuel economy.

I am not sure of the current rules towing a boat as compared to a trailer, the trailer contents have to be covered, does the gear in the boat need a net over it as well?

I have a 50AH yellow battery at the rear and 2 off 20AH batteries on either side of the boat, under the covers, at the front. The front batteries run the radios, winch, sounder, lights and others with a change over switch separating the front and rear batteries in the middle. Spreads the weight great.

Good job, I was thinking of fitting similar.

Last stocked in 2013. Download the Fish Stocking Data for NSW, it shows Fish Stocking up to 2013, very handy.

You are better off getting a lock pin for the connection

Flathead, I have a south pacific and do not need to tie the anchor off, had it for 9 years, I fitted it as I have had a hip problem and only had to go under the half cabin once to clip the anchor on and removed it back at the ramp.

Have a look at South Pacific free fall.

I was not happy with my boat and contacted solas they recommended a new stainless prop but well worth it, higher speed less revs less fuel. Hope this helps.

Battery Tester off E Bay takes the guesswork out of it.

Get an outboard support stay, clips into trailer and onto outboard, spring loaded, adjustable, great bit of gear.

I checked mine some time ago using condy's crystals in the water for easier detection.
