Heading back to Nz chasing kings and snapper early March, hopefully upgrading my pb kingie, boys are eager and keen.............

They indeed take surface lures, heard of a guy taking a 34kg model around a bridge pylon..........

A couple of weeks ago fished of the Coramandel what a spot, fishing was quiet for most of the day until 5.00pm and then the snapper turned it on, 34 snapper over the next hour and a bit, cant wait to get back over there in march. Luv NZ......

Still plenty of large kingfish been caught of Tauranga, stickbaits the go as reported from mate in NZ.....

Certainly was a great trip, unforgetable experience, thinking of moving over there, all in due course. NZ is absolutely mind blowing...

Mate reporting kingies hitting snapper baits,pillies and bottle squid, fish up to 15kg, most fish busting off, serious fishing at the moment Auckland offshore, Coromandel peninsula. Cant wait to get back over there. Here the stickbait fishing should be picking up as we get into winter. cheers tight lines.
