Thanks Josh I will have to chase them up. Great conditions, nice night but just too much of that grose weed. Any recommendations for a bream popper

Just spent a couple of hours flicking a lure around the sand flats at Grays Point. Nothing but this horrible looking weed. It looks like S**T. Smells funny too. Does anybody know if it is pollution or just muck coming from Audley. Frustating as every cast has this brown muck on it. Decided to call it a night early because of it.

Hit the water bout 3pm yesterday and spent a couple of hours getting some live bait. That was the only success for the night. Searched everywhere for some squid using all sorts of baits. No luck. Used the live baits without so much as a hit. Was approached by a couple of other boats during the night and they too were coming up short. Gave up about 3am. We are just going to stick with the flatties and bream and give the jewies a miss for awhile. I suppose that is what happens when you try to target one species. Nice night though.

going for a fish tomorrow night. going to try the advice of jewgaffer regarding squid for bait but would like a back up plan. Question is are the fresh squid any good from the fish market for bait or is it just the same as the local bait and tackle store.

Dear fellow Fisho's I have been chasing jewwies for ages in the Port Hacking. Just about given up. I have tried to get some squid but have had no luck (how frustrating!!!) Any hints on how to get either
