Water only 20 at the banks yesterday. Plenty of bait along the 100fth mark. Hard to see how there was only 12 caught on the long line, I found the line in 106fth last week wide of the banks, so i cant see how they were targeting Tuna as there hasnt been a report of tuna since November. Not havin a go Mchale, but a long line in 106fth around the bait means targeting Marlin in my eyes.

Mate its is a well known Marlin spot for that area. Id be fishing with livies there though, or troll the canyons if you're thinking Lure fishing. Ull find beakies there from now till late march. Nath

Can anyone let me know where the sydney fads are? We tryed to find them 2 weeks ago, and they were not anywhere insight of where the GPS told us they would be. Heading out tomora Thanks Nath

ANTHONY Mate 6 months ago i would of said the same, but having alot of mates into gamefishing and always talking about what hooks are best for Marlin, etc etc... alot are now saying these Dojo hooks are the best for hook-ups and strength, saying that you have to match the right hook for your line class. Over the years ive seen MANY fish grab lures for no hook-up. Id still prefer to get a solid hook-up every time rather than going 4-0-0 every trip. EVETS, mate im not sure they are designed to bend for release, if they bend when leadering then your trying to leader a Green fish. Nath

Not a great advert for Dojo hooks SLINKY... Mate the hooks are fine and are great and these lures and hook set up are great for 15kg and under. The reason the hook re-shaped was our fault. I was driving and chewy was on the rod, While i was setting him up with gimble etc, i lost sight of the fish and let her get ahead of us, which gave a huge belly in the line, she jumped and because there was so much line in the water the pressure was eased at the fishes end and she body wrapped the leader, through out the fight the leader pressure would of gotten tighter and tighter and too much for these hooks. What days are you fishing Lennon? Im guna fish next thursday / Friday if the weather stays fair. Ill be givin the kings a go early, then going wide of the banks. Whitesands is on down there this weekend so we will know whats happening when the boys finish up on sunday. nath

Anyone still use the JRC gps plotters? I use one and its great, old fashion but still does the job. Im having probs with the mapping card tho, and just found out they dont make them for this model anymore. Does anyone know where to start looking. Im after the NSW south coast map. Hey mate, i saw you out there at the banks on sunday morning. I was in the boat with the big hardtop. We only managed 1 king around 70cm, water not warm enough for them yet. We eneded up geting 1 albacor out wide. Tunring back the clock getting yellowfin inbetween Greenwell Pt and the banks. Good to hear. Nath
