Well folks, after missing out on non-boater spots at the last two socials, I thought stuff it, I'm buying a boat. Thats not actually my only reasoning for getting a boat, but it sounds good! Anyway, the order went through today for a white Polycraft 4.1m Challenger side console w/ Suzuki 50hp 4-stroke. WOOHOO! Will be throwing a Minn Kota on the front, and a seat mount on the front casting deck. Should be here in 4 weeks or so - if you want to help me out, go order one yourself, I'm getting a very good deal on the freight, because it won't come down until there is a full truckload, so the more Polys ordered for Sydney the quicker I'll get it!
There is a "bait box" in the stern, and talking to the dealer he said it would be easy to fit an aerator in there, so I could fill it with seawater and aerate it, however is this good enough for bream comps? Or do I need a fully plumbed livewell? Because that will be a much bigger job (ie $$$) to fit a pump/sprayer in there.
Unfortunately, I don;t think it will be ready for the Georges SP day, but should be right for the next one (is there a venue for that yet?).
Wakd.
