  1. Under the railway bridge is a nice place..bit hit and miss but nice and relaxing... walk under the walk way which crosses under the railway the follow the dirt path around...
  2. Used to go there 20 years ago as a kid.... It seems to be still a great place, and ive been meaning to go back there....must do so soon , maybee easter, if the other sports dont get in the way...

    Yamba 2009

    good stuff.. we spent two weeks in yamba last september....nice place..we didnt get much fish though....
  5. i caught a nice blue swimmer in gunamatta bay on news day by chance using my normal rod and reel.... nice dinner plate size...first time i have caught one so it was quite satisfying to catch it mid arvo and go home and cook it for dinner....dosent get any fresher...

  7. bumpski... come on folks...surely some of you have some spots to share.... i want some fish....scored a nice blue swimmer crab yesterday (which was yum)....however i would like to bring home some fish....

  10. http://www.bayofplentylodges.com.au/ lovely place on the north side of susex inlet in jervis bay park...cabins on the waters edge.. where the ocean meets the inlet...
  11. Jervis bay area is nice...was down there recently...for another sport (triathlon) we camped and took the fishing gear... had no luck with the fishing...but think this was a bit due to the weather...(wind)

  13. thanks dude, we have cars, however no boat....hence the mention of land based places... yer ive been thinking of trying around dharuk park area to see what would happen...

Hi All, just found this site yesterday... wondering where you think the best land based spots are, preferably southern sydney ? like cronulla area ? we've gone to como bridge a coupla times and mostly bream that are way too small.... tried bundeena on the weekend..and that was waste of a drive...not even a bite is woronora or grays point any good ? help us out please ? ta Andrew
