If you see a little half cabin huntsman tailing you dont be suprised hahaha. Was this recent mate? do you send the yakkas to the bottom? Which Marker is that? i tried about three thousand markers on the weekend. im guessing anything with abit of structure should produce with the right procedure.

Thanks all for the helpfull replies So went out Saturday morning had live prawns and live squid. Did various drifts the only place the produced some decent size brim was shark island besides that checked all markers throw everything i had from plastics to unweighted prawns and squid for just pickers. Oh well i will give this weekend a try. Trial and error i guess until you get it right. Cheers

Good Afternoon All, About to end another week at work Planning to do a all nighter in the harbour. I have some live prawns and will chase squid around the spit tonight. As i have never landed a kingy im really keen to get one tomorrow morning even tho it might destroy my tackle as im not setup for a decent king im still more then excited to get onto one. Has anyone got any tips locations? rig? Hope to see some raiders out there Cheers

I had a play with yesterday and couldnt figure it out play with all the settings and still did the same thing..... If your on land it will still show the correct depth??

Hahaha yer it really gets on your nerves when you cant find structure and so forth or u think ur in 20ft of water and all off sudden you get a sand trail out the back.... I hope thats all it is..... ill have a play with it when i get home.

Hey Raiders, I got a little issues which is a real pain. I have bought a boat which came with a fishfinder. The fishfinder is a furuno not sure what model. Since ive used it only shows depths of between 20 to 40 ft even if im in water like 5 ft deep. Whats the go? is the fishfinder faulty or do settings need to be played with or something? Cheers

Hey Raiders, Along with my new boat came a Furuno Fish finder (not sure of the itzact model) but for some reason the depth and sounding does not seem right. I turned it on at home it was showing a depth of 30ft. I was out the heads in water over 50ft and it was showing a reading of 34ft??? it doesnt seem accurate at all and ive fiddeled around with it but cant seem to get it to work properly any ideas?? Hi Mr Genius, Thank you for that. The Rego was cancelled. There is no rego paper not to sure why never the less i have found someone who will do the Blue slip. i will see how i go. This is all new for me so im not to sure how everything works. Cheers

Hi Fisher jay, I am located in liverpool. the trailer does have license plate but when i went to register the trailer RTA said that it had no chassi number and had to get a blue slip.......

G'Day, I have purchased a half cabin boat with a mercury 70hp on the back i think 1988 model engine. Currently it is at the boat shop getting a major service and update. The only thing i know about the hull it self is that its a Huntsman 4.30m and has project 149 down the side. i think the hull is a late 1970 model. I will post pictures soon. i had someone tell me that the boat it self is very rare is this correct? any advise will be much appreciated. Also i need to get a blue slip i think to register the trailer is this hard to do as my local mechanic will not do it he thinks you need someone the specialises in trailers to do that?? how much will it cost? im in liverpool btw.
