What a great day yesterday was, had a great time meeting fellow raiders learning a few new tricks and enjoying a great day on the river. thanks to admin for putting the whole thing together also a big thanks to andrew (mako) for sharing his knowledge with us, it really shows how passionate he is about his fishing great job mate, with our newly learnt tips and tricks me and my mate nick set out im my boat and tried to put it all together, well nick caught 1 bream that went 33cms and i had a decent hit that ran but i missed the hook up, i'll keep at it. anyways thanks again. nicks bream. taken on a nuclear chicken prawn.

gday with the social coming up in few days i just wanted to know what lures and soft plastics everyone will be bringing with them ? any suggestions would be great. thanks hamerz84.

deep holes, bends in a river, eddies if you can find em, and running water also fresh or live bait and then just sit and wait. so ive been told anyway that might get you a jew lol.

hi guys i have a 4.8m aluminium bowrider and ive been thinking about installing a electric trolling motor, now i know bugger all about them so i would like some advice on what brand,size and what ever other info i need before i take the plunge. cheers hamerz.

yeh thats exactly it mate better on the water than in front of the idiot box, another good thing about the bream gear is i fluked a yakka on it, mind u i tried everything from berley to yakka rigs to nab a yakka and nothing worked. i sent that yakka down and still couldnt tempt a jew. also ive got every night towards the back end of next week pencilled in the diary for a good assault on the jews. hope i do abit better than last night, (then again theres always the trusty bream gear). cheers hamerz.

thanks mate, yeh i no i mate but i knew the water temp was a bit low and current flow was going to be slow so i pretty much knew i was going to be in for a tough session. only brang the bream gear to keep me awake really. cant complain though spending a nite on the water pretty much beats anything for me. thanks mate.

got down to the river at around 6pm last nite with jewies on my mind,set up my jew rods and set up 1 bream rod to keep me occupied between jews so i thought anyways. long story short fished the entire run out for a big donut on the jewies. but on the other hand i caught and released dozens of under sized bream, in the mix though i got 7 keeper bream one them being my new pb of 39cm to the fork i was stoked. i was extremely glad i i threw in my bream gear. chhers hamerz.

gday guys im thinking heading up to lake macquarie this sunday just wanted to know if any of the local fishos caqn point me in the right direction to catch some fish, im taking my little spin rod armed with 4pound braid and 6 and 8 pound fluro along with some sp's and vibes and also bait. any help would be great, target fish are bream and flatty's. and i will be in my boat. cheers hamada.

good stuff mate as long as the time u have with them is made worth it and memories are made you will do fine in time it will only get easier i hope, some poor bloke i know dosnt even get to see his kids his ex moved state and he dosnt even no where they are. so chin up mate like old mate said "every cloud has a silver lining". all the best with the new boat.

hi mate u should definatly take it back and air your grievances with the fella u bought it from. he should undertake his good will policy and sort it out for u. thats the chance u take with buying older model outboards. i bought older boats for years and always had problems with em. ended up buy a near new boat and never looked back. anyways it could be a number of problems from water or air in your fuel mix, debris in your tank or you fuel lines to even a crack in 1 of the cylinders could even be some water sitting on the bottom of the cylinder could be anything mate, get it checked and hopefully its nothing to major. if your in the sydney area and need a outboard mechanic send me a pm and i'll put u onto a cracker mechanic. all the best mate i know how you feel. cheers hamada.
