Littledinghy
Hi Guys, I am a little bit embarass to asked this question because I have been fishing for a long time now. The question is "how to hook the squid to keep it alive and what rig should I use when on a boat?" I"ll really appreciate if someone can describe how they use a live squid as a bait. We were drifting behind Lion Island last Saturday, Rodnreel hooked a squid, so I told him to use it and surely, I said you will get a kingfish out of it (all this report I read in Forum, it has to get a kingy). I thread the 8/0 hook from the tailend and to the head, same thing I did when using a dead one, then throw it to the water. Nothing happen after 5 minutes, he reeled it in and checked, it is dead, that's how the question came about. See, I am trying to be smart because I thought I knew. So please guys, enlighten me. Thanks heaps, Littledinghy
