lokpikn Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 hit the basin with my mate this morning at about 5.30 hoping to pick up a few bream on softys. No bream today but as the sun got up we got the usaul flaties not to be today largest round 450mm picked up a few small tailor a trevally and a nice size fan belly leather jacket. Also got a cockell on the plastic thats a new one for me so by about 8.30 we ended up getting about 15 fish or so but let them all go Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lokpikn Posted February 26, 2006 Author Share Posted February 26, 2006 been fishing the basin with a boat for about 3 years now. mainly on sp and do quite well. some days we have cought and realesed more than 50 fish between the two of us. The bait works quite well they all come back with some nice size bream and blackfish. There has been a few small jews caught just near the sussex basin entrance and i have been told there was a leagal kingy caught from within the basin as well. ] Since the pros have been kicked out its great. they have said they are going to put some man made reefs in but still waiting Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
