hey fella s just wondering what you guys use as an alternative for a sea anchor. i ve yet to purchase one and i just use a large bucket tied to the boat. it works rather well but can t withstand larger gusts.

are there any other options?

hey there james it depends on the size of your boat mate.i have 5.5mtr fibre glass boat and i use 2 sea anchors mate sometimes 2 on 1 side or 1 each side.deffinately spend the cash it makes differance and also learn how to anchor differant ways in differant wind conditions. hope that helps you
