yeah i thought so. i didnt think there was any point to downrigg when being stationary, suspending your bait with a snapper lead would have done the same thing, thanks James

what did you get busted up on? was just reading your post again and if you were fishing juno that arvo it would have been running out and dead low where did the fish run to bust you off the point wouldnt have come into the equation. id be checking my line quality mate or even increase the line class

bad luck. you know times are tuff when you give the flathead grounds a go. we trolled old squid strips on wednesday for king after king you should have given the harbour a go

yes, i agree with reely to much said. when i said i go past and to many aren t fishing the reef correctly i meant direction and anchor not that they couldnt find it. its almost impossible to miss it

it was released but didnt no what to do with the tag, so didnt take to much notice of it. will no better in the future

i caught a king yesterday with a tag in the side of him. the tag had a fare bit of growth on it so didnt really see anything besides a few letters and numbers. what should be done in the future in case of a similar catch cheers James
