union
I want to fish under stockton bridge, i did today but kept getting snagged, losing line/bait. Until i gave up and went home. Is their any particular spot where theres a lot less rocks and its deep?
Lightweight
Very familliar, but from a boat. The only real way to fish that area land based is at the turn of the tides, when there is some slack in the water. Try half hour either side of the high. If you go a bit further up river, past the boat ramp and cast out about 20m you will be in the channel, there is a far less rocks in that area, they are still there, bu not as many. You could also head a fair bit downstream towards Walsh Point and you will find that it is all sand/mud down there, and you will still be able to cast to the channel.
