kikila
Three blokes I know fished the harbour today, they caught 3 jews 4.5kg, 9kg & one of 12kg they also missed about 10 other hits the jews would hit the livie; kill it then loose interest, all the hits were on yakkas
Blood Knot
Kikila- Thats pretty good news, as I am hoping for a midweek session on the Harbour this week. Was wondering if it was worth it as the Kingy reports are a bit sparse at the moment. John

martinc
question is - will you eat them...... being the apex predator - they should be full of dioxions. Have the results on jewfish been released yet?
pk-fishn
youd think they are? but many thought whiting being bottom feeders and all would be full of diaoxins but they are clear. results still havent been taken on another key recreational target species which is flathead as well as flounder and snapper. tests are still underway as they want to get the results right otherwise theyre in trouble. it is said that the next six months should bring solid results and answers. lets hope so. cheers pk
