Guest Saqa
Saqa (pronounced saanga) is the fijian term for big trevs. This is my personal best, a 15kg golden I took in Hervey bay QLD amongst some spainiards and other reef all on deep jigs. Heading thaere again this august

Guest Saqa
do you make shark fin soup with the fins? is that why they are gone? CFD Hey, you're right. I think the deckie must have pinched them Actually I lost count of the number of sharks I caught in that trip. I dont keep them but the skipper wanted to hang on to some as the other clients werent having much luck. Gave three each to the other two guys at the end. I gave the smaller spangled emperors and hussars to the lady running the holiday apartments we always stay at. Haraka All the other fish got turned into the wicked fried curry that Mrs Saqa does. We ate the whole lot over the next few days. You would have loved the golden nuggets
