Yellow Fin

There seems to be a few fin around over the past couple of weeks but Browns is 40kl out. A long time ago I used to fish the banks it is a lot closer to the coast line.

Are there any places that fin show up around Sydney that are closer in ?

you will get them at the shelf or at the bait station..... but they are still a long trip..... broken bay was not fishing well on sudnay so your best best bet would be to head for browns

I fished Emerelda last Sunday and it was slow. I originally wanted to go to Broken Bay Wide but I did not get that far.

Hi Mate, i hear alot of reports from many of Sydneys various charters and at the moment most of the YFT are coming from Browns with the odd Shelf capture.

A few have been caught out from broken bay but not many in high numbers.

Browns is definately the hot spot at the moment but browns can also be hot and cold.

I have fished for them before when I was younger. They are always an off and on proposition. Days of sitting patiently cubing with zero result were not uncommon. But the day when you get a good one

This was in the mid 80s and fin and kings at the banks out from Crookhaven were common.

Mate up here, Slightly shorter run to Norah Canyons then Browns. Is producing some good fish and know a bloke who boated one off the Farm 9 nautical miles out to sea...Ever in the area give us a buzz
