keenas
G'day Raiders. Headed out to bluefish wide about 9.00am,monday instead of 6.00am tuesday thanks to false info from B.O.M. Anyway, had no time to get fresh bait, and only had a couple of blocks of pillies. The wind was westerly with a touch of south blowing about 15kts .After about 1hr of nothing but reef rubbish the wind died down, the south pushing current turned the boat in the right direction for the first time in 4 outings. The blurders were first up the berley trail ( as many as you like ) they left after 30mins, kept 2. Floated a slab of blurder out, while feeding out of the overhead about 60mts behind the boat it got smashed, landing a healthy red 1.5kg. Fifteen minutes later the same thing happened, and had another one in the boat and dropped another not long after that.As i was packing up a school of slimies showed up, caught a couple for next time had to go although the reds weren't thick it was good to get a few. And best of all no effing SWEEP!!!!! Sorry no pics have to rely on others to help me, will try and get them next time.
