G'day Raiders

I have my boat in for winter service and I would like to get all the rusted U-Bolts on my trailer replaced. I have been to a few places and have discovered I have an odd size trailer frame. 77mm x 77 mm

I am looking for

80mm (inside measurement) X 150mm height

50mm (inside measurement) X 140mm height

45mm (inside measurement) X 75mm height

Any help would be appreciated

cheers

Some very weird sizes there

Bais only have:

U Bolts for Swivel Brackets

7227 Suits chassis 50 x 50mm Pair $6.50

7228 Suits chassis 75 x 50mm Pair $6.70

7229 Suits chassis 100 x 50mm Pair $6.90

I have checked the trailer repair centre cataloge and they have no matching sizes

You can buy galvanised brooker bar (theaded rod) from bunnings and cut and bend your self - but you will lose a lot of stenght. or you can use galvanised plate with bolts

Inhlanzi,

There is a place out the back of St Mary's that custom make all that sort of stuff.

If you don't have any luck send me a message and I will get their details for you.

Regards

Paul.

Thanks for the advise and help raiders.

I have managed to get just about all I need except for one size of u-bolt. I need 12 of them.

It is flat bottomed and is 43 mm between the legs and 75mm high and is 10mm thick.

This one is needed to hold the wobbly roller cross bars onto the main swing arms.

I got the rest of the U-Bolts with washers and nuts ($8 each) and leaf springs at Boeing Trailers in Parramatta. Very helpful bloke there.

Got the high tensile bolts at Lee Brothers Bolts also Parramatta.

Looks like St Marys will be the go for this oher wierd size. Thanks rzep and quinfish.

cheers
