Crossing Narooma Bar

I dont mind Swansea at all, its always been nice. Just stick too the channel where the markers are and generally its easy.

Anyone got any stories of bar crossing, when its all gone wrong etc?

Yeh mate, Swansea's one of the safest on the Nsw coast. Even the safest ones can get a bit hairy at times.

As for the stories I've had a few minor incidents in the last 12 months on bars

1. Was up at Forster when a decent sized wave shattered the windscreen aswell as an outfit going over into the drink.

2. Was doing an early morining crossing off swansea and hit a big sheet of metal, took a big chunk out of the prop luckily the stearing didn't seize up or I would of been gonisky's lol
