robthefisherman
This might sound like a basic question to a lot of you guys but something I'm not sure of. Is wind direction measured in the way the wind blows or from where it comes from. Eg does a N/E blow to the north east or come from the north east. Cheers
kantong
I was under the impression that it was where it was coming from. ie N/E blow - winding coming from North east i could be wrong Edited October 19, 2006 by kantong

Guest IFishSick.
It is where it comes from. E.g a Southerly blows to the North
