Hey all,

I am going down the south coast on Wed for 4 days of Fishing around Eden.

Will be taking my 5.8 Haines.

HAs any1 been there, know some local knowledge or vouch for the GPS marks?

I am keen to try for some big snapper, big kingies and well anything big!!

I fished Eden last Easter. If your not aware , the boat ramp is a few k's south of town off the highway , ramp , parking & facilities are very good .

In respect to fishing spots we fished off the northern headland of Twofold bay for a mixed bag.

There is a book available from most tackle stores called Sydney & South Coast GPS Spots.The book lists 10 locations there is 1 just south of TF Bay for Snapper called South Head Wide

Hi,

If you are going after the kings, the knife jigs work the best and about a k off shore from the big rock produces the best fish. You mat even catch snapper with the knife jigs but not very often. If fishing for the kings always find them on your depthsounder or otherwise their is no point on fishing for them. Always watch out for the lead liners too, they go crazy if you get in their way.
