Eighteen-year-old Yasser Ahmad Hussein was swimming in lake Qaroun, southwest of Cairo, when the freak accident occurred. Yasser was celebrating the three-day feast marking the end of the religious fasting month of Ramadan by swimming with his friends in the lake in al-Faiyoum.
