Great fish there mate how far off were u when u got the snapper? in wat depth?floaters?

Most of the Snaps were hooked on squid tentacles free floated,

a couple took peeled prawns free floated towards the washes

just off the rocks at Sth Head.

did you spot the school of kings on the sounder?

how deep was the water you were downrigging in and how deep did you have the bomb set?

I originaly had the bomb set at 35ft and managed 1 King and a Jewy at that depth,

then we saw large fish on the sounder at 12-15ft so we baught the bait to that depth

and whamo,instant hit.We did see fish at times that did not even bother to look at

our baits,and we saw 1 King swim off and under a moored boat as we approached.

He was only 2-3ft under water.
