new2fish Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 ANYBODY HELP ME WITH SOME GOOD LANDBASE FISHING SPOTS AROUND BOTANY BAY LOOKING FOR FLATHEAD/BREAM USING SOFT PLASTICS {SANDWORMS/3" MIOWS GRUBS] THANKS
Chef Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Foreshore drive, from the runway toward the ramp. Walk the beach on the last half of a rising tide and have a flick. Also, walk the beach at yarra bay. Both are very easy access and a nice walk too. During summer it's worth having some shinny spinners as you may be in with a chance for salmon or big taylor.
new2fish Posted November 4, 2006 Author Posted November 4, 2006 thanks for your help chef will give it a go / tell you how i go thanks new2fish
Lasty Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Also you can get flathead from the concrete wall down towards Dolls Point/Sans Souci at high tide. This would be a good spot for those land based participants in the flathead social.
