As i have never fished like this before im wondering how far back from the bomb should i set the bait when slow trolling live/dead squid? Do fresh dead squid work when used on a down rigger? namesay Posted November 23, 2006 Share Posted November 23, 2006 Go on a charter with peter leblang. His fees are reasonable and you'll learn EVERYTHING about downriging.
